I can remember my childhood back in New Jersey. Everyone in our neighborhood had a porch, yet for some reason the entire neighborhood would gather at my mom’s home on her porch. Coffee plus adding a freshly baked cake and the ladies were celebrating! The neighborhood was tight and we called everyone aunt and uncle regardless of the fact that there was no biological connection. They were older, and calling them aunt or uncle was our way of showing respect. Do you remember those days? Ahh, the good old days! Anyway, I’m off track here, so let me get back to my point. Now that the kids are back in school and the messes from the constant action in the home has subsided, it is a great time to get the house chores back on track too.
