Sometimes we don’t realize that we need our area rugs cleaned until company is scheduled to come visit or you plan a gathering of some sort. It’s not as simple of an answer as it might seem like it should be. “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” after all, and that old saying applies to cleaning area rugs as well. Some folks think that they can drop their rug off with us and it will be cleaned and ready for them by the next day. But this just isn’t the case!
After all, there are a lot of steps that go into providing a thorough and proper cleaning for your Persian or Oriental area rug. Yes, even synthetic rugs require special care to ensure they get exactly what they need. At Arizona Oriental, we try our hardest to accommodate our client’s needs and time lines. However, there are some situations that we just can’t rush through.
Rugs with unstable dyes, for instance, need to be handled carefully and have an added step in the cleaning to help stabilize these dyes. We need to make sure the colors in your rug don’t need additional treatments to prevent dye migration before rushing them through the cleaning. It also depends on how unstable your rug’s dyes are. Some are not so bad and can be rushed through, others have dyes that are so unstable that we simply cannot put a rush on them.
We at Arizona Oriental advise our clients to always give us as much time as possible to care for their area rugs. We also understand that life just happens and time has a bad habit of getting away from us sometimes.
