Hi there, I’m Ruthie at Arizona Oriental & Specialty Rug Care, where we value our customers and understand that our client’s needs vary.  From the first time you call our office and are greeted with a cheerful voice and a willingness to help, to the time when you come and pick up your rugs – Arizona Oriental strives to give our clients an excellent experience from beginning to end.

Here’s a few hints as to what you should expect when you first call our office.  First, if your bottom line is to find out what it will cost to clean your rug, don’t expect a 15 second answer.  Some folks call and give us a quick size of their rug and want an immediate and fast response to firm up the cleaning cost.  It isn’t that easy!

All rugs are different – different sizes, construction, fibers, etc. – and this means that we have to ask a few questions ourselves and do some detective work to find out about YOUR rug.  Our detective skills will be put to good use and you should expect a few questions that will need to be answered before we can give you an estimate over the phone.  Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers, most folks don’t and I promise our questions are not that tough!  Most people do not know every little thing about their rug down to the finest detail.  We will use what you can tell us to get a better understanding of what is needed for your area rug, which will enable us to more accurately give you the information you’re after – what it’s going to cost!

Along with whatever you can tell us about your rug, we will inquire what prompted your call.  Some folks call because of a spot from a beverage spill or a pet accident.  We’ll ask about the size of the spot and if there has been any attempt to clean it at home and, if so, what was used in spot cleaning.

Here are a few routine questions you can expect to be asked: Do you know if the fiber is wool, silk, synthetic, etc.?  Can you see the design on the back of the rug or is it covered up with a piece of cloth?  By spending just a few minutes to ask these questions and gather the right information, we are able to provide more accurate phone estimates, which helps our clients be informed customers as well!
