Sometimes folks are led astray by our company name and assume that we care only for the fine area rugs that you have to spend thousands of dollars on. But this isn’t the case at all! At Arizona Oriental & Specialty Rug Care, we clean ALL TYPES OF RUGS, even the more economical ones! Many of our client’s rugs are synthetic rugs and they deserve a proper cleaning too!
Arizona Oriental understands that the cost of the rug alone doesn’t matter so much as what the rug means to the client. Even if it was purchased at a home store like IKEA or Home Depot, the rug is the perfect size, shape, color, and design for the client’s home! My client loves the rug, so it deserves a proper cleaning, too, right? Of course it does! This rug will be treated just the same as all rugs in our care. Arizona Oriental will first inspect the rug, do a dye migration test, and check for urine deposits. Then we will dust the rug to remove dry soil (this is critical to a deep cleaning), match the cleaning method and solutions to the fibers of the rug itself, and then wash the rug individually – we NEVER batch clean with other clients’ rugs, so you don’t have to worry about any cross contamination from another person’s rug.
Each rug fiber – be it silk, wool, or a synthetic fiber – has specific cleaning requirements. Believe it or not, sometimes even synthetic fibers require more cleaning services than a wool fiber!
So, YES, of course we clean synthetic area rugs along with all other rug fibers as well. Don’t let your area rug go neglected, regardless of fiber. Clean rugs not only look better, but they will continue to do so, allowing you to enjoy the rug for many years.
Regular maintenance and soil removal are key to prevent soil from building up and embedding itself in the fiber and causing fiber damage.
