Sharing the Holiday Love with a Cute Area Rug!
Hi folks! Ruthie with Arizona Oriental & Specialty Rug Care here in Prescott AZ and today I wanted to take a moment to share this adorable little rug that one of our clients brought us in for cleaning. They dug out this little snowman rug that had been put away in storage and nearly forgotten about and wanted him ready for Christmas! It’s a shame they nearly forgot about him - he’s such a cutie!
Area rugs come in all different shapes and sizes just like people! They’re so lovely and very often quite unique! I like to call them “artwork for our floors” and it definitely holds true! Here at Arizona Oriental, we see a LOT of very impressive and intricate hand-knotted wool and silk area rugs. But today’s adorable little snowman is a machine-woven rug.
Of course he IS a snowman, so it makes sense that there is a lot of white on this rug - however when he came into our shop, there was a LOT of soil on him! He was in need of a lot of T.L.C. from us here at Arizona Oriental.
Thankfully, with that much-needed T.L.C. of ours, Mr. Snowman is as bright and shiny as ever! He was able to go home just in time for the holidays and I can only imagine that his owner and her guests were very pleased by the results and enjoyed him!
